Description: The Ralco Advance Light rubber covered fire hose is an economic choice with all the advantage of a rubber covered fire hose. This hose features: resistance to oil, fuel and a wide range of chemicals, resistance to heat, UV and ozone, abrasion resistant, lightweight and flexible with small coil diameter, has excellent adhesion between rubber and textile, no cleaning and drying required and easy to repair.
Applications: Applications include: refineries, chemical industry, military, airport fire brigades, marine and offshore installations, wall cabinet hose (if compliance with BS 6391/Type 3 is required).
Construction - Textile Reinforcement: Warp - high tenacity polyester. Weft - polyamide; circular woven. Special weaving design to minimize pressure loss. Totally embedded in the rubber compound providing excellent protection against mechanical damage.
Construction - Lining/Cover: Special high grade formulated NBR/PVC compound extruded through the weave in a unique one step production process. Inside is very smooth for minimum friction loss. Outside is also smooth for good abrasion resistance, flexibility and has a small coil diameter.
Special Options: Coating of cover pinholes Advance Light Latex (avoids penetration of harmful liquids into the textile reinforcement). Lengths up to 100 m (330 ft). Colour according to customer specification. Cold flexible version Advance Light Polar down to -30°C (-22°F).
Note that special options are subject to a higher price of and a minimum order of 1,000 m (3,300 ft) per dimension. Production short lengths and over production up to 10% of the total order quantity have to be accepted - please enquire for more details.
Standard Lengths: 15, 20 m (50, 66 ft), in bore size 38/45/64 and 70 mm also 18, 23 and 30 m (60, 75 100 ft), other lengths on request.
Standard Colour: Red.
Service Temperature: From -20°C up to +100°C (from -4°F up to 212°F), based on water.
Valid Standards: prEN 1924 / Kat 3 / BS 6391 / Type 3 and other national standards.
