Tube: Smooth, Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) translucent (non conductive = POLIAX UHMWPE SM EN12115) or black (conductive = POLIAX UHMWPE CON SM EN12115).
Reinforcement: Synthetic textile fabrics with embedded steel wire helix, and built-in copper wire to allow electrical connection between hose and couplings.
Cover: Black, abrasion and weather resistant, EPDM rubber, antistatic. Other colours available on request.
Applications: POLIAX UHMWPE SM EN12115 HOSE is suitable for suction and delivery of a wide range of aggressive chemicals, among them most acids, alkalis, oils, fuels and solvents. Can also be used for flexible connections in paint plants. Suitable for suction and delivery of all foodstuffs, containing also animals or vegetable fats and oils, according to national and international norms.
Standard Lengths: Up to and including I.D. 63.5mm: 40m. From I.D. 65mm to 102mm: 20m.
Temperature Range: Working temperature: -15°C (+5°F) to +70°C(+158°F). The hose can be cleaned and sterilised with usual detergents or steam up to a temperature of +130°C (+266°F) for short periods.
